JUANJO MOSALINI

Son of Juan José Mosalini – founder of the European Bandoneón School – he is considered one of the chief contemporary bandoneonists, standing as a key character on the musical scene of Argentina and Europe.

Faithful to his origins, a great lover of tango tradition, he is one of the few international bandoneonists to regularly play as a soloist in the most important classical orchestras, including the Philharmonic Orchestra of Rotterdam, the Israeli Symphony Orchestra Rishon La Zion, Philharmonic Orchestra of Seoul, Brittany Orchestra, Orchestre de Picardie, etc.

He has shared the stage with artists the calibre of Toots Thielemans, Mino Cinelu, Gotan Project, Cirque du Soleil, Catherine Lara, Julien Clerc, Eli Medeiros, Giulietta, I Mouvrini and Julia Miguenes.

Moreover, he collaborated with Eric Serra  in the film ‘Léon’ by Luc Besson and, either as an interpreter and a composer, in ‘Jeanne and the Perfect Guy’ by Olivier Ducastel and Jacques Martineau, with composer Philippe Miller.
